Race the Night

Race the Night is a nighttime trail running event held at Illiniwek Forest Preserve on Saturday, November 7. The event offers two measured course options and runs on forest trails after dusk.

Runners choose between:

7K
14K

Headlamps are required for all participants and are available at Fleet Feet. Aid stations are placed along the courses: the 7K has an aid station at approximately mile 2.5; the 14K has aid stations at approximately miles 2.5, 4.25, and 6.75.

After finishing, runners can warm up by a fire and enjoy fall favorites and live music. Participants who register by 10.30 are eligible for a limited edition souvenir tee.
