Race the Ghost
Race the Ghost is held at Dryden Creamery on West Main Street in Dryden, NY. The course follows the Dryden Rail Trail: participants run 1.5 miles out to the Spooky Cone and then return to the creamery, where a finisher's treat is provided.
All runners are timed and a course route is posted on MapMyRun. Packet pick up and post-race awards are part of the event schedule. Shirts are available for purchase.
The event includes awards for top finishers in Male, Female, and Non Binary categories. Multiple costume awards are listed, including Spookiest Costume, Best Solo Costume, Best Couples Costume, Best Group Costume for three or more people, and Most Creative Costume. Awards will be given to the top person in each category.
Registration options shown by the organizer include an Adult 5k Run Walk category, a family registration option that covers multiple family members, and a children category for ages 12 and under. Children aged three and under are free and still receive a bib. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
