Race of Thrones : Brownsville Event Center, Brownsville TX
Race of Thrones is a themed community 5-kilometer run and walk held on June 20, 2026 at the Brownsville Event Center in Brownsville, Texas. The event is organized by H16 Visual Media as part of its community engagement activities.
The event features a single distance: 5K. Registration opens May 9 and closes June 16. The early registration fee is $35 through June 10; after that the fee increases by an estimated 15 to 20 percent. Results are chip timed and each participant receives a themed race bib.
Finishers receive a 3 inch round medal and a digital certificate. Registration includes a dri fit white race shirt, entry for raffle giveaways, a sponsor swag bag, and on-course free water, snacks, and treats. A 3.1 mile course map is provided for the route.
The event materials and on-course presentation use a medieval theme with banners and related imagery. The organizer describes the event as competitive and community oriented.
