Race for Recovery 5K & Breaking Barriers Recovery Mile

The Wolfe Street Foundation organizes a community walk and run at the Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock that brings together individuals, families, teams, and recovery supporters from across Arkansas. The event offers two distances and routes around the Capitol area.

• 5K - route from the Capitol down Capitol Avenue, turning at Louisiana Street, then returning to the Capitol grounds.
• 1K Recovery Mile - loop around the Arkansas State Capitol grounds.

Every registration includes event participation, an official event T-shirt, food and drinks, and access to a Recovery Resource Fair featuring community partners and recovery resources. Timing for participants is provided by OK Timing Plus.

Registration is open from October 9, 2026 to January 2, 2027 and the registration fee is $20. The event is presented as a family-friendly community occasion intended to raise visibility for recovery and reduce stigma. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
