Race for Recovery 5K and Breaking Barriers Recovery Mile
Race for Recovery 5K and Breaking Barriers Recovery Mile is a community walk and run organized by the Wolfe Street Foundation on September 12, 2026, at the Arkansas State Capitol grounds in Little Rock, Arkansas. The event brings together individuals, families, teams, and recovery supporters from across Arkansas.
Distances:
- 5K run - route from Capitol down Capitol Avenue, turn at Louisiana Street, return to Capitol
- 1K Recovery Mile - loop around the Arkansas State Capitol grounds
Every registration includes event participation, an official event T shirt, free food and drinks, access to a Recovery Resource Fair featuring community partners and recovery resources, and timing provided by OK Timing Plus. Registration opens June 5, 2026 and closes September 11, 2026. The registration fee is $35 per entry.
The Recovery Mile stays on the Capitol grounds, while the 5K travels from the Capitol area down Capitol Avenue toward the Wolfe Street Foundation building before returning to the Capitol grounds.
