Race For Permanent Sanctuary Family Fun Run
The event is a community fundraiser for The Sanctuary Foster Care Services held on November 7, 2026, at Brazos River Park, 18427 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77479. The program includes chip-timed running and walking events and a timed children’s run.
Distances offered:
- Kids 1K for ages 12 and under
- 5K run, chip timed
- 5K walk, chip timed
Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled on November 5 and November 6 at The Sanctuary Foster Care Services location. Race day packet pickup is available the morning of the event. Parents may accompany children in the Kids 1K and each child will receive a finisher’s medal. Strollers are allowed on the course and pets are not permitted.
Food and music will be available before and after the events. All registration fees are donated to The Sanctuary Foster Care Services. The organizer’s weather policy states there are no refunds or transfers if the race is cancelled for weather reasons and the event will not be rescheduled.
