Sandwell Pretty Muddy 5k
The Sandwell Pretty Muddy 5k takes place on Saturday 12 June 2027 at Sandwell Valley Country Park, Sandwell, B71 4BG. The event is an obstacle course over a roughly 5 kilometre route with the start and finish on grass. The course terrain includes grass, paths and woodland areas with multiple obstacles and may become soft or muddy in wet weather. A course map is available but may be subject to change.
Participants must be aged 13 or over on the day; there are separate Pretty Muddy Kids events for younger children. Wave starts are staggered every 15 minutes; marshals are on course to assist and participants may skip obstacles if required.
The event is organised by Cancer Research UK and has a minimum fundraising target of £50. Entry pricing shown includes earlybird adult and child rates listed at £11.24 and £6.00 respectively.
Travel and access details note onsite parking with charges up to £2, allocated Blue Badge parking approximately 200 metres from the event site, and limited pedestrian and public transport access. The venue is around a 25 minute walk from West Bromwich and the nearest train station is West Brom Central. Available facilities include toilets, refreshments and parking; showers and bag drop are not available.
