Oxford 10k - Race for Life at University Parks
Race for Life Oxford is a fundraising running event organised by Cancer Research UK at University Parks in Oxford. The event offers two distances:
- 10k on a double lap of the course
- 5k
The course starts and finishes on grass near the cricket pavilion. It is entirely flat and runs predominantly on park pathways and closed road through University Parks and adjacent streets. The 10k route consists of two laps and the event is chip-timed.
Participants must be aged 16 and over. Entry fees listed include £17.49 for participants aged 16 and over and £11.00 for children. A minimum fundraising target of £50.00 is shown.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and the venue is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair access. The event does not offer bag drop, showers, or on-site parking. General event parking is not provided; Park and Ride and city centre car parks are suggested. The nearest train station is Oxford, about a 22 minute walk to the park.
Accessibility support includes sunflower wristbands at the enquiries marquee, event staff trained as Dementia Friends, and a QR code for British Sign Language stage content.
