Race for Life Oxford 10k : University Parks
Race for Life Oxford is organized by Cancer Research UK and takes place at University Parks in Oxford on Sunday 27 Jun 2027. The event uses the park as its main venue with the start and finish areas on grass next to the cricket pavilion.
Available distances:
- 10k
- 5k
The course is entirely flat and is predominantly on pathways and road. It begins in University Park and leads onto the streets of Oxford. The 10k route is a double lap of the same course. Surfaces include tarmac roads, hardstanding paths, grass and a woodland section. In wet weather the grass and woodland sections may become muddy or slippery and there may be congestion at the split point on the lap.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and the site is suitable for pushchairs. The event is wheelchair accessible with assistance, though Blue Badge parking is very limited. There is no event parking and no electric vehicle charging at the venue. Public transport options include nearby bus routes and the nearest train station is a 22 minute walk from the park.
Participants are chip timed. The event lists a minimum fundraising target and provides a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support and a finishers medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
