Croydon 10k Race for Life
This event takes place at Lloyd Park in Croydon. The course starts and finishes on grass and includes a mixture of terrain with some inclines and declines around the park. The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k course. Events are chip timed.
The event is organised by Cancer Research UK. Entry is available for people aged 16 and over. A minimum fundraising target of £50 applies. Ticket prices shown are £17.49 for adults and £11.00 for children.
The main event site and meeting point are on the playing fields next to Lloyd Park tram station, near the Lloyd Park Lounge Café. Public transport options noted include Lloyd Park tram station within a short walk, South Croydon train station at a longer walk, and nearby bus stops including St Pauls United Reformed Church with services 64 and 433. There are approximately 35 bike racks in the park. Event parking is not specific to the venue and blue badge parking is limited in the park car park.
Available facilities include refreshments and toilets. Bag drop and showers are not available. The course is considered unsuitable for wheelchair users because of grassy and uneven terrain, but people with visual impairments may take part with a guide. Sunflower wristbands and BSL stage content access are provided on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
