The start and finish are on grass. The course mixes surfaces and includes inclines and declines around Lloyd Park. The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k course. The site and many stretches of the course are grassy; for this reason the event is not suitable for wheelchair users. People with visual impairments may take part with a guide.
The meeting point is on the main playing fields next to Lloyd Park tram station, just after the Lloyd Park Lounge Café. There is no dedicated event parking. Limited Blue Badge parking is available in the Lloyd Park car park. The nearest tram stop is Lloyd Park, a short walk from the site. There are approximately 35 free bike racks in the park. Bus services and the nearby train station are noted as local access options.
Facilities on site include refreshments and toilets. Bag drop and showers are not available. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support, access to an online community, and a finishers medal. Sunflower wristbands and a QR code for British Sign Language content will be available at the main event site, and Event Managers have dementia awareness training.
