The start and finish are on grass on the main playing fields next to Lloyd Park tram station, just after the Lloyd Park Lounge Café. The course includes grass, woodland and some inclines and declines. In wet weather the ground may become soft or muddy, and woodland sections may become slippery.
The 10k is chip-timed. The event notes a minimum fundraising target of £50.00 and ticket prices shown in the event details range from £5.50 to £8.74. Approximately 35 free bike racks are available in the park. There is no specific event parking; Blue Badge parking is limited and located about 50 m from the event site on tarmac. Volunteer parking is on the main playing fields.
Facilities listed as available include refreshments and toilets. The event is not wheelchair accessible and is not suitable for pushchairs.
