Event information
Race for Grace Place is a fundraising 5K run and walk held on March 28, 2026, at Galloway Memorial United Methodist Church in Jackson, Mississippi (305 North Congress Street). The event supports Grace Place, a ministry that serves people who are food insecure. Grace Place provides breakfast four days a week, a clothing closet, worship opportunities, and community celebrations. The event includes an option called the Block Walk, a walk around the block that the church sits on.

Logistics, awards and fundraising
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Grace Place and on race morning. Onsite registration will be available on race day. Parking options include the lot between the church offices and Grace Place, a lot across the street from the sanctuary, and on-street parking; additional parking is available at nearby locations mentioned by the organizers.
Post-race activities include an art sale, Foundery tours, and a meal served to participants. Awards are given for first, second and third places in men’s and women’s categories for both running and walking 5K events.
