Event Details

The Race for a Legacy 5K takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Louisville High School in Louisville, Ohio. The event is the second annual edition. Two participation options are available: a general 5K Run/Walk and a 5K Run/Walk - Students category. Registration includes a participant t-shirt.

Activities and Atmosphere

Before and after the race, there will be a DJ, first responder vehicles on display, and student groups providing activities.

Course

The 5K course starts in a neighborhood, follows a paved trail, and finishes in the Louisville High School parking lot. The event is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing.

Beneficiary

The event directly supports Legacy of Honor, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Its mission is to serve, support, and help first responders, active military, veterans, and their families. A key focus for the organization in 2025-2026 is supporting the mental health of local heroes.

Logistics
