Quad Cities Running Festival 2026

The Quad Cities Running Festival is an annual point-to-point running and walking event held on Memorial Day in East Moline, Illinois. The festival features multiple distance options for different participants:

  • Half Marathon: A 13.1-mile point-to-point course.
  • 5K: A 3.1-mile point-to-point course.
  • Kids Half Mile: A short distance fun run for children.

The courses are designed as point-to-point routes, meaning participants start in one location and finish in another. For the Half Marathon, aid stations providing water and electrolyte drinks are located at miles 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11.5, with energy gels available at mile 7. The 5K course includes an aid station at the halfway mark at Beacon Harbor.

Full-price registration includes chip-timed entry, a performance race shirt, a finisher's medal, and access to a post-race party featuring a specialty cookie. A "no shirt" registration option is also available at a reduced rate. Because the races finish in a different location from the start, a pre-race shuttle service is available for a fee, departing from the East Moline Glass parking lot at The Rust Belt complex.

The event is professionally timed, and awards are issued to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in age divisions ranging from 19 and under to over 70. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
