Event Information
The Quad Cities Distance Classic takes place in Moline, Illinois. The event includes a Half Marathon and a 5k race. The start and finish is on Bass Street.
Packet pickup is available at the Stoney Creek Inn on Bass Street and River Drive, Moline.
Course Details
- Half Marathon: A 13.1-mile course consisting of 4 loops on River Drive and a bike path. There are 4 water stops.
- 5k: A 3.1-mile loop course described as fast and flat. Splits are provided every mile, and there is one water station.
Course protection is provided until 10:30 AM. Participants still on the course after that time must move to the sidewalks, and the clock stops.
Awards
Both races offer $100 prize money to the overall male and female winners. There are also awards for Masters (40 & over) winners. Age group awards are available in categories from 19 & under to 80+. Overall winners and Masters winners are not eligible for age group awards. All Half Marathon finishers receive a commemorative medal.
