Puyallup Trail Challenge
The Puyallup Trail Challenge is a multi-stage trail event on July 24, 2027 in Puyallup, Washington. Participants complete three sequential 5K trail courses at local parks: Riverwalk Trail (behind Fred Meyer, 1100 N Meridian Ave), Wildwood Park (1101 23rd Ave), and Clarks Creek South (Puyallup Loop Trail, 1710 12th Ave). Each 5K must be finished within 45 minutes, and participants are given 30 minutes to travel and prepare for the next start. Missing a cutoff or failing to reach the next start on time ends that participant's challenge.
Entry is limited to 100 registrants. Registration fees vary by registration window, ranging from $80 to $120; a team option for four people reduces the total by $20. Price includes chip timing, a commemorative shirt (an additional $5 applies for 2XL and 3XL), a finisher medal, and after-race snacks.
The event practices sustainability: it is pinless, cupless, and paperless. The free RaceJoy app is mandatory for all participants for real-time tracking and safety. The event has a strict no refunds and no transfers policy. For safety and insurance reasons, pets and strollers are not allowed on the course.
