Puro 9:56 Racing 5K and 1 Mile
The Puro 9:56 Racing event takes place on June 13, 2026 at the Mission Hike & Bike Trails in Mission, Texas. This is the second annual Entity Event and the schedule includes a post-race award ceremony, raffle prizes, and tacos after the finish.

There are multiple registration options for the 5K, including a paid entry with a race shirt and a lower-fee entry without a shirt. The listed registration fees are $30 for the 5K with a shirt, $20 for the 5K without a shirt, and $15 for the 1 Mile. The shirt deadline is May 29; after that date shirts are available first come, first served at packet pickup.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Valley Running, 1701 Dove Ave W J, McAllen, TX 78504 on Friday, June 12, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. All participants will pick up bibs and shirts during this time.
Event services and amenities include chip timing and live results for the 5K, finisher medals for all participants, a hydration station, tacos, DJ music, free race photos, a start/finish inflatable arch, a palm tree themed photo area, and local vendor booths. Awards for the 5K recognize top male and top female overall and multiple age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
