Purbrook Ladies 5
The Purbrook Ladies 5 is a women only road race organised by Portsmouth Joggers Club. The race covers a single lap of approximately 5 miles on quiet country lanes, with the course starting and finishing at Purbrook Heath, about three miles north of Portsmouth. The entry field includes competitive club runners and runners seeking race experience. Entry is restricted to women aged 18 and over; there is no upper age limit.
Facilities at the venue include changing rooms within the cricket pavilion. Refreshments and cake are provided after the race. The event is currently sold out and a waiting list is available.
Entry fees are stated as £17 for UK Athletics members and £19 for other entrants. A non refundable booking fee of £1.50 applies. Entries may be transferred to another person through the organiser's entry system; when transfers are used, the person transferring is responsible for any transaction between the parties and a transfer code is required to accept a transferred place.
