Event overview
The Pup-A-Go 5k Hike/Run is scheduled for December 14, 2025 in Phoenix, AZ at Papago Park West Butte Trailhead. The event is organized by GhostHead Productions in partnership with Home Fur Good. Distances offered include:

A portion of each registration fee will be donated to Home Fur Good, a no-kill animal shelter. Paid 5K entrants receive a Pup-A-Go sticker, a doggie bandana, and a commemorative Pup-A-Go / Home Fur Good t-shirt. Registration closes on December 5.
Course and logistics
The course is a single counterclockwise loop around Papago Park and will be marked at critical junctions. An aid station at the start will be stocked with cold water, hydration mix, snacks, and bananas; there are no other aid stations on course. Free parking is available across the street from the start at 625 N Galvin Parkway, a short walk to the trailhead. Porta potties will be available at the start area.
Dogs must be leashed at all times, be up to date on vaccinations, and owners must pick up after them; doggie poop bags will be provided. The event will take place rain or shine and refunds are not offered for cancellations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
