About the race
Pup-A-Go is a community 5K hike and run held at Papago Park in Phoenix, AZ on January 10, 2027. The event is organized by GhostHead Productions in partnership with Home Fur Good, a no-kill animal shelter. A portion of the registration fee will be donated to Home Fur Good. Participants complete one counterclockwise loop around Papago Park.
The course is marked at critical junctions. An aid station at the start area will offer cold water, a hydration mix, snacks, and bananas; there are no other aid stations on the course. Restrooms will be set up at the start area. Dogs are welcome to participate but must be vaccinated and leashed at all times while on the course and throughout the event.
Doggie poop bags will be provided at the start area and participants are asked to pick up after their animals. Additional parking is available across the street from the start area at 625 N Galvin Parkway, a short walk to the start. All paid 5K entrants will receive a Pup-A-Go sticker and a commemorative Pup-A-Go / Home Fur Good swag item; entries made by December 25 may not guarantee event swag.
