Event details

The Pumpkin Smash 5K & Kid's Fun Run takes place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in Versailles, KY. The event is held at Falling Springs Recreation Center, 275 Beasley Road, Versailles, KY 40383. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk, a Kid's Fun Run open to ages 9 and under, and a Race Volunteer option. The event is the 2nd annual race and benefits the Versailles Kiwanis Club; 100% of race proceeds and donations support the club's local charitable work.

Features and logistics

The race is held in conjunction with a Pumpkin Smash activity run with the Versailles Fire Department, during which community pumpkins are hoisted and dropped. The course is a paved route through the grounds of Falling Springs. Race features include commemorative unisex T-shirts in adult and youth sizes, free race photos, awards for the top three male and female overall finishers, an awards ceremony for overall and age groups, music and food on site, and social teams with a prize for the largest team. Race day packet pickup is available at the Falling Springs Pavilion.
