Pumpkin Plod - Ferry Meadows
Pumpkin Plod is a timed multi-lap running event held at Ferry Meadows, Peterborough. It is offered in a 6-hour or 4-hour format; participants run as many laps of a marked loop as they can within the chosen time and may rest between laps.
The course uses a 5.3 km lap through the park on gravel footpaths and some grass areas. Race HQ and the aid station are located at the start/lap point by the Lakeside Centre on the watersports side of the park. Registration is based at the Lakeside Centre; Zig Zag gazebos are visible from the car park.

- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon (standard 5 laps; option to change on the day)
- Full Marathon (multi-lap)
- Ultra Marathon (standard 9 laps; can be increased up to 12 laps)
The organiser provides an aid station every lap and event-specific finisher medals unless the non-specific finisher medal option is chosen. Parking at the park is chargeable. The event is cupless; participants should bring their own bottles or cups for refilling. Road trainers are suggested, with trail shoes optional depending on weather.
