Event overview
PT the Pirate 5K is hosted by East Carolina University's Physical Therapy Club and takes place February 28 to March 2, 2026, in Greenville, North Carolina. The event supports the club by raising funds for equipment for a student-run clinic, student conferences, and other educational needs. The in-person activities are held at Wildwood Park, 3450 Blue Heron Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.

Registration fees are listed as $30 until February 6 and $35 until February 28. All 5K participants who register before February 2 are guaranteed a T-shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, February 27 at Fleet Feet Greenville, and packets are also available on the day of the event. The 5K course uses the trails of Wildwood Park. Parking is available at the Wildwood Park Welcome Center. Age-group awards include overall male and female and the following groups: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and up. Prizes include coupons to Fleet Feet Greenville and discounts for cryotherapy at Kinetic PT. The event is timed by Run The East, LLC.
