PT the Pirate 5K : Greenville, NC
East Carolina University Physical Therapy Club organizes the 7th annual PT the Pirate 5K in Greenville, North Carolina. The event includes two distances:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Fun Run (untimed, free)
Registration opens on 2026-09-10. The early registration fee for the 5K is $30 through March 13; the fee is $35 through April 3. All 5K participants who register before March 6 are guaranteed a T-shirt. The 1 Mile Fun Run is free.
Proceeds support equipment for the student-run clinic, student conferences, education needs, and promotion of the ECU PT Club in Greenville and surrounding areas. Prizes from sponsors are to be announced. A post-race food and tabling area will feature sponsor booths.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, April 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at a location to be announced; packets can also be picked up on the day of the event. The race course runs on the trails of Wildwood Park. There is ample parking at the Wildwood Park Welcome Center.
Age-group awards are listed for overall male and female and the following age brackets: 15 and under; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50 and up. A Strava run group is available for participants who wish to train with others. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
