PRTC Rice Run, Walterboro SC
The PRTC Rice Run is an annual event hosted by the Colleton County Rice Festival and presented by Palmetto Rural Telephone Coop. It features a measured 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run, both held in Walterboro, SC at 31 Klein Street.

The 5K course begins with a gradual incline, continues onto a winding paved nature trail with a few rolling hills, and finishes with a flat decline. The course certification code is SC22009BW. Race swag includes a 5K shirt while supplies last, and finishers receive a medal at the finish line.
Awards for the 5K include top overall finishers and top male and female in multiple age groups. Overall awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers. Age group awards cover decades from 12 and under through 70 and over. The 1 Mile Fun Run is run for enjoyment and does not include individual placements or awards.
