Event Overview
The Project Search event is an annual athletic gathering held at Ascarate Park in El Paso, Texas. This inaugural edition focuses on promoting inclusive employment and supporting students as they develop professional skills and reach career milestones. Path options available for participants include:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run
The event is designed to be inclusive, featuring a 1-mile inclusive walk alongside the standard running distance. Participants who complete their registration by April 15 are eligible to receive a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher medal.
Race Day Experience
The festivities extend beyond the course with an inclusive post-race celebration. Attendees can access community resources and purchase items from various food trucks on-site. Recognition is given in several categories, including the top overall male and female finishers, the largest participating team, the best-dressed participants, and specific random finishers.
Packet pick-up is organized at two different locations prior to the event: the Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus and the East Campus. The registration fee is set at $30 for both the run and the walk events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
