Pride 5K Run / Walk : Front Runners & Walkers San Diego
The Pride 5K is a community run and walk presented by Front Runners & Walkers San Diego, held on July 18, 2026 in Hillcrest, San Diego. The event uses a USATF-sanctioned, chip-timed course and follows an out-and-back route along University Avenue, turning on 6th Avenue and entering Balboa Park before returning to the finish at University and Richmond Streets.
Every in-person and virtual participant receives a short-sleeve race shirt and a finisher’s medal. In-person bib and packet pick-up occurs on July 16 and July 17 at the LGBT Center (3909 Centre Street in Hillcrest); participants may request bib mailing for a fee. Virtual participants receive their packet by mail the week of July 13, 2026. Refunds and transfers of entry fees are not offered.
Race-day support includes portable restrooms, water at the start, the finish and one point on the course, and a gear-check area. A free shuttle will transport participants between a designated off-site parking lot and the parade start area; parking near the staging area is limited due to construction. Baby joggers are permitted but asked to start behind other participants. Bicycles, inline skates, motorized scooters and skateboards are not allowed; pets are not allowed unless they are service animals.
Teams may register for scoring; at least four members are required for team scoring. Results are available the day of the event and online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
