Pride 5K - Mission

Pride 5K is a community running event on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Mission Hike and Bike Trails, 1801 Native Land Design, Mission, TX 78572. The event is organized by the RGV Queer Run Club and proceeds will benefit South Texas Equality Project (STEP). The event marks the one year anniversary of the run club and returns to the location where the club began.

This is a timed event managed by Puro 9:56 Racing. The 5K includes chip timing and live results. All registered participants receive a finisher medal and a race shirt if registered before the T-shirt deadline on June 6. Packet pickup for registered participants is scheduled for Friday, June 26 at Valley Running Co.

Included event services and features: hydration station, music, free race photos, a start and finish line arch, and recognition for top finishers. Awards for the 5K recognize the top three in each category: female, nonbinary, male, and teens and kids 17 years and under. Registration fees listed for the event are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 mile; prices increase on April 30.
