Pride 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run : Mission, TX
Pride 5K and the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk take place on June 27, 2026, at the Mission Hike and Bike Trails, 1801 Native Land Design, Mission, TX 78572. The event is hosted by the RGV Queer Run Club and timed by Puro 9:56 Racing. Proceeds from the race will benefit the South Texas Equality Project (STEP). The event also marks the one year anniversary of the run club and returns to the trail where the club began.

- 5K (3.12 miles)
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The 5K uses chip timing with live results. All registered participants receive a finisher medal; a race shirt is included with the 5K and available as an optional add-on for the 1 Mile. Packet pickup is the day before the race at Valley Running Co., 1701 Dove Ave W J, McAllen, TX 78504, on Friday, June 26 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
On-course and event amenities include a hydration station, music, free race photos, and a start/finish line arch. Awards for the 5K recognize the top three in female, nonbinary, and male categories, and the top three teens and kids overall (17 years and under).
