Prairie Trails Club 5K Run/3K Walk
The Prairie Trails Club organizes a 5K run and a 3K walk on the Erie Trail and the Grand Kankakee Marsh Trail in North Judson, Indiana. Both courses include marked turnaround points and use the same general trail corridors.

- 5K Run: 3.1 miles
- 3K Walk: 3K
Registration includes a pre‑registration fee of $25 which guarantees a T shirt. Day of event registration is $30, accepted by cash or check only, and T shirts are available while supplies last. Registration opens February 4, 2026 and closes May 22, 2026; day of registration is available at a higher fee.
Timing is provided by T & H Timing. Medals are awarded to top male and female finishers in age brackets for both events, with categories ranging from 9 and under through 80 and older.
The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine and will not be rescheduled. The Prairie Trails Club may cancel, alter, or modify the race or course for safety reasons; there are no refunds or changes to entry fees for such contingencies. In case of cancellation, T shirts will be mailed to preregistered participants. Event status will be posted on the Prairie Trails Club website and on the club Facebook page by May 24.
