Event Overview
The Prairie Trails Club organizes a community running and walking event featuring two distances. The event takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in North Judson, Indiana. The start and finish location is at 704 Main Street.
Events
Participants can choose between two events:
- 5K Run
- 3K Walk
Both events are held on The Erie Trail and The Grand Kankakee Marsh Trail, with marked turnaround points on the course.
Registration and Costs
Pre-registration for either event costs $25 and guarantees a T-shirt. Race day registration is available, starting at $30, but payment on race day is accepted only by cash or check. A T-shirt on race day is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.
Event Details
Chip timing for both events is provided by T & H Timing. Medals are awarded to top male and female finishers in both the 5K Run and 3K Walk across many age brackets, starting from 9 and under up to 80 and over.
The event is scheduled to proceed regardless of weather conditions and will not be rescheduled. In the event of cancellation due to safety concerns, there are no refunds or modifications to entry fees, but pre-registered participants will have their T-shirts mailed to them.
