Prairie Goat Ultra - May 9, 2026 - Broadview, MT
The event runs simultaneous mountain bike and running timed races on separate loop courses on BLM land near Billings, Montana. Mountain bike laps use an approximately 8 mile loop with fast descents and steady climbs. Teams may alternate laps to accumulate miles. E bikes are welcome and have a separate award category. An aid station for bike racers provides basic nutrition, water, and lunch.
Runners use an approximately 4 mile single track loop with gentle elevation. Running options include multi hour formats up to a 24 hour event that continues through the night; lights and reflective gear are required for overnight running. The runner aid station includes a warm fire pit, soups, food, teas, coffee, and water.
Primitive camping is available at the race location on BLM land. There is no running water or electricity at the camping area, so runners and crews should plan for those conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
