Prairie Goat Ultra

Prairie Goat Ultra is a dual-format endurance event held near Broadview, Montana on BLM land at Heag Rd. The event runs simultaneous mountain bike and running programs on separate loop courses and offers individual and team options.

Mountain biking uses an approximately 8 mile loop with fast descents and steady climbs. Riders may complete repeated laps; teams are encouraged to rotate laps to accumulate distance. E-bikes are welcome and have a separate award category. An aid station provides basic nutrition, water, and lunch.

Running uses an approximately 4 mile single-track loop with gentle elevation. Runners may choose from multiple timed formats, including a 24-hour option that runs overnight and requires lights and reflective gear. The running aid station includes a warm fire pit, soups, food, teas and coffee, and water. A free meal is provided after the running races.

Primitive camping is available at the race location. There is no running water or electricity on site, so participants should plan to be self-sufficient. The event location is described as BLM land just outside of Billings, Montana. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
