Pouilly Sancerre

About the race

Pouilly-Sancerre 2026 is an autumn running and walking event that links the towns of Pouilly-sur-Loire and Sancerre and highlights local food and wine culture. The program includes road races, a walking event, a short evening race, a guided hike presented as a gastronomic walk, and children's runs across two days in mid October.

The main road event covers 20 km between Pouilly-sur-Loire and Sancerre. The event combines sport with regional heritage: tastings with local vignerons, food stops along the route and activities on the departure and arrival village sites. Organisers present a runner pack with a T-shirt and a collector medal.

The Pouilly-Sancerre event positions itself as a meeting of two wine terroirs and is part of the Challenge de la convivialité Les Festiviales. It also raises funds for local heritage projects, including the Tour des Fiefs de Sancerre and the Tour du Pouilly-Fumé. The organiser is La French Run Événements and the event takes place across Pouilly-sur-Loire and Sancerre over two days in October 2026.
