About the race
The LOWA Posbank Trail, Canitrail & Walk takes place on 24 October 2026 and uses singletracks and heather terrain around the Rozendaalse Veld. The course starts and finishes at the site of Scouting Markesteen in Velp (Bovenallee 3). Parking is available in the Beekhuizen residential area about 1 km from start and finish.

There are separate kids trails: about 600 m for children up to 6 years and 1,200 m for ages 7 to 11. The 7 km Posbanktrail is open from age 13; younger children may join the kids trails. Canitrail teams run with their dog over 7 km and 15 km; dog minimum ages vary by distance and a passport must be presented for age checks. Canitrail starts are individual, not mass starts.
All routes form a single loop, are professionally marked (fluor yellow arrows) and include aid stations offering water, sports drink, salty snacks, winegums, chocolate and fresh fruit. GPX files are published on 21 October. Time limits apply per distance and timing is recorded with an Ipico chip. Finishers receive a nonalcoholic Weizenbier.
