Ponoka Battle River Run - April 11, 2026
The Ponoka Battle River Run is presented by the Town of Ponoka and R2 Fitness on April 11, 2026, with start and finish at the Baden Powell Adventure Center. The event features multiple distances and a free kids loop.

The course follows the Battle River and Ponoka’s Battle River Valley trail system. The 5 km loop runs entirely on paved trails. The 10 km loop includes some stretches on off-road trails.
The race is officially chip timed. Medals are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers in both the 10 km and 5 km events. Results are published by male and female age categories: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
Registration fees vary by date and by age. The under 18 entry fee is listed separately and the kids loop requires no registration. Registration includes chip timed results, post-race snacks, and a long sleeved shirt. The long sleeved shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed before April 3, 2026, with surcharges for larger sizes. All proceeds fund graduation scholarships at local schools.
