Event overview
The Point of Honor 5K takes place on April 4, 2026, in Downtown Lynchburg, Virginia. Race headquarters is at The Depot Grille, 10 9th Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504. This is the 17th annual running of the event. The race raises awareness for organ and tissue donation and raises funds for LifeNet Health. The course will start and finish at locations adjacent to the Depot Grille and will use the Blackwater Creek Trail for the majority of the route; the final course map is pending due to anticipated trail work. Walkers are allowed; pets and strollers are prohibited. Assisted participants who use an event-appropriate stroller and their pushers must both register; assisted entries start before the main 5K and are ranked separately.
