Pleasant View City Founder's Day 5K
The Pleasant View City Founder's Day 5K is an annual running event held in Pleasant View, Utah. The course follows a route that begins on the canal road North of Weber High School, accessed via 500 W. Participants travel East toward Washington Blvd, then South down Washington Blvd to Weber High Drive, concluding at Henry J Barker Park. The route characteristics are primarily flat or downhill downhill sections.
Registration for this event includes access to electronic chip timing with results posted online. Participants who register by June 10th are provided with a race shirt. Support is available during the event through an aid station located along the course.
The race features competitive elements with awards presented to the top overall male and female finishers. Additionally, medals are awarded to the first, second, and third place finishers within each specific age group. Following the physical activity, a breakfast is held at the pavilion in Henry J Barker Park. The cost of this meal is included in the registration fee for all participants, while non-participants may purchase entry to the breakfast separately.
