Pleasant Mount Firecracker 5K
The Pleasant Mount Firecracker 5K is a community 3.1 miles run and walk held on July 4, 2026 at the Pleasant Mount Community Center, 377 Great Bend Turnpike, Pleasant Mount, PA 18453, USA. The event is organized as an annual fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 407 to support scouts attending a six day summer camp that promotes physical, social and mental development.
Participants may choose to run or walk the course, and all must be able to complete the distance within one hour because a community parade follows the event. Timing is provided by a professional race management company and all 5K participants will have chipped race numbers for official results.
Registration fee tiers apply by date: $20 until May 30, $25 from May 31 through June 15, and $30 after June 15. Children aged 10 and under are free and may register online. To be guaranteed a commemorative race T shirt, participants must register and select a shirt size by June 20, 2026.
Awards include overall male and female winners and first through third place in multiple age groups, covering children through 70 and over, for both sexes.
