Pirate Booty Run 5K
The event is the 12th Annual Pirate Booty Run held at Woodward Park - Shinzen Group Activity Area, 7775 N Friant Rd, Fresno, CA 93720. The event includes in-person and virtual options and is part of the Cal Classic Runner of the Year Series.
Participants receive an event shirt and a finisher pirate medallion. In-person entrants are eligible for a Pirates Treasure Chest prize but must be present to win. The virtual option includes mailed medal and shirt; virtual participants are not eligible for the treasure chest and virtual results are not official nor posted.
There are multiple distance choices and formats:
- 5K Run/Walk 3.1 miles
- 2 Mile Run/Walk not timed
- Virtual 5K completed individually
The 2 Mile event is presented as a family run or walk and is not timed. The course features pirate-themed elements and music along the route; participants are invited to wear pirate attire. Walkers and strollers are welcome. Registration includes automatic special pricing for children 9 and under during the registration process.
