Event details
The Pipestem Pumpkin Run takes place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 3405 Pipestem Drive, Pipestem, WV 25979. The event marks the 50th anniversary and uses a scenic course located 18 miles north of Princeton, WV on Route 20. Online registration opens June 1, 2026. Entry fees listed are $20 early and $30 race day; members of the local running club have reduced fees of $15 early and $20 race day. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 80 registered. A Fun Run and the Kids Run are offered at no charge; no T-shirts are provided for these free runs.

Awards and extras
Awards for the 5K and 10K include top three male and top three female finishers and top three in each age group: 11 and under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+. The 5K Walk will award the top five overall. A costume contest is timed shortly after the race start; the first-place prize is a complimentary one-night stay at Pipestem’s McKeever Lodge (subject to availability), with additional prizes for second and third.
