About the race
Pinery Fall Classic 2026 is a fundraising run and walk at Pinery Provincial Park in Grand Bend, Ontario on October 18, 2026. The event raises money for The Friends of Pinery Park to support education, preservation, research and enhancement projects in the park.
Distances offered include:
- 2K Road Run/Walk
- 4.8K Trail Run/Walk
- 5K Road Run/Walk
- 10K Road Run
The 4.8K route goes through trail and beach terrain and contains rough surfaces and stairs. The 5K and 10K include wheelchair categories. All participants receive the Pinery Fall Classic medal. Overall first, second, and third finishers in each gender category receive signature camp mugs, while age category winners receive small medals; age categories include Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Winners of overall do not qualify to win their age category.
Registration notes include an early bird period and regular pricing windows, the possibility of same day registration for a CA$10 surcharge, and a t-shirt order deadline of September 15, 2026.
