Pineapple Express Trail Run 2026
Pineapple Express Trail Run 2026 is a coastal trail running event held on 15 August 2026 at the Wild Coast Sun in Mbizana, Eastern Cape. The event is presented by DELTA SPORT and is the official trail run of the KZN South Coast for 2026.
There are three race distances on coastal and trail terrain:
- 30 km - Ramsgate Beach. Min age 21 years.
- 21 km - Trafalgar Beach. Min age 16 years.
- 12 km - Glenmore Beach. Min age 10 years.
Entry categories have staged pricing with early, standard and late entry periods. Late entries do not include race apparel or a goodie bag. Shuttle transport to each race start is available for purchase, limited to 13 seats per start and charged separately.
The route features water tables placed as follows: three for the 30 km, two for the 21 km and one for the 12 km. Water table supplies include refill stations for hydration packs, 32Gi Endure in drums, 32Gi gels, bananas, biscuits and muffins. Water tables are cup-less so runners should bring a personal cup or hydration pack.
Event services listed for entrants include timed results and race numbers, emergency medical assistance on route, event safety support, runner check-in points, race sweepers and a finisher medal. Prize allocations include R15 000 cash for the top three in each race by gender and R10 000 in additional lucky draw prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
