Piermont Fire 5K
The Piermont Fire 5K is a community athletic event held in Piermont, New York, to support volunteer Fire and EMS organizations within Rockland County and the Lower Hudson Valley. Established by the Empire Hose Company #1 to commemorate its 175th anniversary, the event serves as a fundraiser and recruitment effort for local charity partners in the emergency services sector.
The course takes participants through the village of Piermont and along the Piermont Pier, offering views of the Hudson River. Both the start and finish lines are located in front of the Dennis P. McHugh Piermont Public Library at 25 Flywheel Park West.

- 100 Yards Kid's Fun Run
The 5K run is a timed competition with age categories ranging from 19 and under to 70 and over. Awards are presented to the overall fastest male and female finishers, as well as top finishers in each age group. Specific prize categories are also designated for the fastest firefighter, EMT, and police officer. There is an option for a 5K walk, which is non-competitive and does not feature age categories or prizes.
Children aged 8 and under can participate in the 100 Yard Dash, a non-timed fun run where every participant receives a medal.
