Annual Physical Therapy Run, Walk and Roll Event
This event takes place at Ascarate Park in El Paso on October 25, 2026, as a fundraiser for local non-profit organizations and physical therapy students. Proceeds benefit El Paso's United Spinal Association and the Greater El Paso Physical Therapy District, among other local recipients.
The event offers both in-person and virtual options and a range of participation categories, including running, walking, handcycle, recumbent bike, and wheelchair divisions. There are also dedicated amputee athlete categories.

Awards include a trophy for the largest team, trophies for overall male and female runners, and medals for the top three male and female 5 km finishers in the Run, Wheelchair, Handcycle, and Recumbent divisions. Age-group awards cover standard brackets from 9 and under through 70 and over. A costume contest is part of the event; three winners receive a $50 gift card each and must be present at the end of the event to receive prizes. The first 200 registrants receive a race t-shirt.
Registration fees vary by date and category: early-bird individual registration by October 15 is listed at $25 per person with a $20 military rate and teams of 10 or more at $20 per person; later registration listed for October 16–24 is $30 per person, and race day registration is $40. Early packet pick-up is scheduled for October 24 at Up and Running, 3233 N Mesa Ste 205. Virtual entries include instructions to register, print a bib, pick up a t-shirt, complete the distance between October 19 and October 24, and upload results via the registration site.
