Annual Physical Therapy Run, Walk and Roll Event
The 34rd annual GEPD Physical Therapy Fun Run, Walk, and Roll is a fundraiser scheduled for October 25, 2026 at Ascarate Park, 6900 Delta, El Paso, TX 79905. The event includes on-site and virtual participation options and offers multiple divisions for runners, walkers and athletes using wheelchairs, handcycles or recumbent bikes.

On-site divisions listed by the organizer include 5K Run, 5K Walk, 5K Handcycle, 5K Recumbent bike, 5K Wheelchair, and 1 mile equivalents. Virtual 5K and 1 mile options are available; virtual participants are instructed to pick up shirts and bibs, complete their distance between October 19 and October 24, and upload results through the registration results page.
Registration pricing varies by date and category. Early registration by October 15 is listed at $25 per individual with a reduced $20 rate for military and a team rate of $20 per person for groups of ten or more. Standard late registration runs October 16 to 24 with a higher individual fee, and a race day fee applies. An online registration service fee may apply. Early packet pickup is scheduled for October 24 at Up and Running, 3233 N Mesa Ste 205.
Proceeds benefit local nonprofit organizations including the United Spinal Association and the Greater El Paso Physical Therapy District (GEPD), and support local PT and PTA students. Awards include trophies for the largest team and overall male and female runners, medals for top 3 male and female 5K finishers in Run, Wheelchair, Handcycle and Recumbent divisions, and age-group placings. The first 200 registrants receive a race t-shirt. A costume contest and cash gift card prizes are included in the event program; winners must be present after the event to claim prizes.
