The event takes place on Sunday 28 December 2025 at Xcel SPORTS HUB Stadium, Waterside Drive, Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 2JG. Distances offered:
- Half marathon - 4 laps
- Marathon - 8 laps
Entry fees are listed as £31.50 (Affiliated) and £33.50 (UnAffiliated). This event is race 4 in the Icebird / Firebird four-race series 2025. Places are strictly limited. Medals are awarded to all finishers.
Course and rules
The route runs along the River Thames from Walton on Thames towards Hampton Court and back. The course is an off road trail on a riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain or loss. The route is accurately measured and UKA certified, Certificate No: 17/433.
Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules. Both attended and virtual participants receive a free giveaway medal or memento. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
