Phoenix Wicked Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Spooky Kids Sprint
The 11th annual Phoenix Wicked running event takes place in Peoria, Arizona, on the New River Trail System. The courses consist of asphalt and concrete dedicated running paths, starting and ending at Rio Vista Park. These trails remain open to the public during the event.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Spooky Kids Sprint (half mile)
- Virtual Run
The half marathon has a 4-hour time limit. Course support includes water stations at regular intervals for all distances, while restrooms and GU Gels are available at specific points along the half marathon and 10K routes. The event is chip-timed with real-time results available via a mobile app.
The Spooky Kids Sprint is an untimed half-mile run for children. Participants in this distance receive a trick-or-treat bag to collect items from volunteers along the course. Costumes are encouraged for all participants. The event is leashed pet-friendly and accommodates strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs, provided they start at the back of the group.
All finishers receive a custom medal and a dri-fit tech t-shirt. Age group awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in various categories for the half marathon, 10K, and 5K distances. A pre- and post-race brunch featuring fruit, granola bars, and specialized drinks is provided to attendees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
