About the race
The Phoenix Wicked event on October 18, 2026 in Peoria, Arizona includes multiple timed and untimed running options on the New River Trail System. Courses are all on asphalt and concrete and start and finish at Rio Vista Park. The event is limited to 750 participants.

- Spooky Kids Sprint half mile untimed run
- Virtual Run (US addresses only)
Course support includes water stations, restrooms, and GU gels at designated mile marks for each distance. The half marathon has a 4 hour cut-off time. The Spooky Kids Sprint is limited to 100 children; registrants receive a trick or treat bag at check-in and may trick or treat along the course from volunteers. Costumes are encouraged for the kids sprint. All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a dri-fit tech shirt, with a no-shirt option available for a reduced fee. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in all age groups for the half marathon, 10K, and 5K (race day participants only).
Event logistics note that the open use trail remains open during the event, there is no bag check, bicycles and wheeled skating devices are not allowed on the course, and wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome starting from the back of the field. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix and on site at Rio Vista Park. Virtual participant items are shipped after the event.
