Phoenix Wicked Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Spooky Kids Sprint
The Phoenix Wicked event on October 18, 2026 is a multi-distance running event held at Rio Vista Park in Peoria, Arizona. The courses use the New River Trail System and run on asphalt and concrete trails that remain open to the public during the event. Start and finish are at Rio Vista Park.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
- Spooky Kids Sprint (half mile, untimed)
- Virtual Run (US addresses only)
Support on course includes multiple water stations and restrooms positioned at specified mile marks for each distance, plus GU gel locations on the half marathon route. The half marathon has a four hour cut-off. Timing is chip based with real time results and race photos available.
Participants receive a custom finisher medal and a dri-fit tech shirt; a no-shirt option reduces the fee. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group for in-person participants in the half marathon, 10K, and 5K. Pre- and post-race refreshments are provided. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix and on race day at Rio Vista Park.
Event policies note no bag check, limited field size, weather no-refund terms, and that bicycles, roller blades, skateboards and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. Wheelchairs, strollers and wagons are permitted from the back of the pack. The Spooky Kids Sprint is limited to 100 participants; registered children receive a trick or treat bag and may trick or treat along the course from volunteers. The event is organized by StartLine Racing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
