Event overview
The Phillips Flurry is a snowshoe race, run and walk held on January 24, 2026. The event includes state-level competition as the home of the Wisconsin State Snowshoe Championships. In-person and virtual participation options are offered. The virtual events can be completed anywhere between 1/1/26 and 1/24/26. Multiple age and category entries are listed, including adult, youth (10 to 19 years), child (9 and under) and virtual equivalents, plus a Kid's Kilo virtual category (up to 9 years).

Details
Pre-registration for in-person events closes on 1/19/26. Registration pricing increases on 12/1/25, 12/15/25 and 1/12/26. In-person registrants receive a bib and a swag bag; virtual registrants receive socks and a swag bag by mail. The first 120 registrants will receive maximum performance wool socks while supplies last. Water will be available on both the 5K and 10K courses. Registration includes a post-race meal catered by Lola’s Lunchbox, entry into door prize drawings including at least one pair of snowshoes, and complimentary race photos posted online after the event.
Teams and awards
Teams require at least five members and may include both in-person and virtual participants. Teams with five or more in-person finishers in the 5K adult/youth event will be scored for awards. Team divisions include Corporate, Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, HS Boys and HS Girls; awards are given to top teams in each division. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
