2026 Petawawa Triathlon
The event is held in Petawawa with Race HQ and the transition area at 1201 Rantz Road. Open water swims take place in Black Bay.
Event formats include:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run.
- Sprint Team Relay: same distances completed by a team of two or three.
- Super Sprint (formerly Try-A-Tri): short open water swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run.
Early race kit pickup is scheduled Saturday, August 15 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at GearHeads, 3133 Petawawa Blvd. Race kits are also available race morning during check in and body marking from 6:45 am - 7:30 am. T shirt sizes are only guaranteed for registrations completed before July 15.
A mandatory safety briefing is held before the race. The course is not closed to traffic. A post race meal and awards presentation will be held at the KIN Hut, 16 Civic Centre Road.
