Event Overview
The Pet Rescue Run/Walk offers several events at Columbus Park in Columbus, Michigan. The main event is an officially timed 5K trail run/walk. The course is 100% grass and dirt trails, with natural features like rocks and roots. The elevation change is approximately 55 feet, and conditions can be muddy. The event takes place rain or shine.
A 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is also available. This distance is not officially timed and features minimal elevation change. A virtual 5K option is offered as well.
Fundraising and Charity
The event is a fundraiser for animal rescues in Michigan, specifically supporting the J & J Furry Friend Foundation.
