Accura Perth Half Marathon & 5km
Accura Perth Half Marathon & 5km takes place on 2 August 2026 and is organised by the West Australian Marathon Club. The event is open to non-members and donates its proceeds to the Lions Save Sight Foundation.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 21.1km
- 5km
The event also hosts the WA State Half Marathon Championships and includes a Kids Marathon. All finishers in the half marathon and 5km receive a finishers medal. The first 1,000 registrants receive an event shirt while stocks last.
Race services include an unmanned bag drop at the start/finish area, paced groups with two pacers per group identified by red balloons, and on-course and finish electrolytes supplied by KODA Nutrition. A free energy gel is available at the KODA marquee to half marathon bib holders.
Bib collection is available before race day at WAMC locations; there is no collection on the event day and the club operates a No Bib = No Race policy. Awards include trophies for first to third male and female in each distance, a first U16 male and female in the 5km, and recognition of WA State Half Champions. Draw prizes require participants to place their draw tag in the prize box and be present to win.
The event supports a shoe donation program for regional communities, sending donated shoes to towns such as Mullewa, Mt Magnet, Cue, Northampton and Meekatharra.
