Event Overview
The Peoria Unified School District 5K Fun Run and Walk takes place at Liberty High School in Peoria, Arizona. This community event is designed to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among district employees, their families, and the wider community. Participant Information
Water and healthy snacks are provided both before and after the race to all participants. Those who register by February 20 are guaranteed an event t-shirt, which must be collected in person at the venue. For safety and contractual reasons, runners and walkers are not permitted to start their race more than five minutes after the official start.
Awards and Categories
An award ceremony follows the conclusion of the races once winners in each category have finished. Awards are presented to the first, second, and third-place male and female finishers across several age divisions. These divisions include categories for participants aged 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
