Pelee Island Half Marathon
Located on Pelee Island, Ontario, Canada, the Pelee Island Winery Half Marathon is billed as Canada’s most southern half marathon. The limited field, about 400 participants, runs seven-eighths around the island, finishing inside the Pelee Island Winery. The course blends surfaces: the first 5 km on tar-and-chip pavement, roughly 8 km on gravel on the east side, then back to paved roads to the winery.
Aid stations roughly every 2 km provide water and electrolytes; port-a-johns are available. Registrants receive a wine-inspired recovery long-sleeve hoodie, a commemorative medal, bib, and a ticket to the finish-line luncheon with wine tasting. Ferry access from Leamington is required.
