Pelee Island 2026 Half Marathon
The twelfth running of the Pelee Island Winery Half Marathon takes place on a Lake Erie island and finishes at Pelee Island Winery. The event is a timed half marathon, limited to approximately 400 participants, on a well marked and managed course surfaced with a mix of pavement, gravel, and tar and chip.
Aid stations and portable toilets are provided at roughly two kilometre intervals. Registration includes a lightweight long sleeve recovery hoodie in unisex sizing, an award winning medal, a bib, and a ticket to the after run party with wine tasting. Additional luncheon tickets for guests are offered at Adults 65 USD and Kids under 11 55 USD; tickets are limited. The winery enforces a no refund policy.
A special ferry schedule is arranged for race weekend with added sailings between Leamington and Pelee Island, including early and return services to support participants. Lodging options on the island are currently reduced compared with previous years due to lower inventory of rental cottages, BnBs and camping spots.
