Pecatonica Labor Day 5K

Pecatonica Labor Day 5K is a community 5K run/walk held in Pecatonica, Illinois. The course starts and finishes at the Pecatonica Public Library in Pecatonica and passes the Winnebago County Fairgrounds before following the Pecatonica River Bike Path back to the library.

The event is hosted by the Pecatonica Economic Development Committee in conjunction with the Pecatonica Labor Day Event. Chip timing is provided by Racing Expectations. Pre-registration fee for the 5K is $30.00. The event offers special pricing for youth ages 0-17 and for participants age 80 and above. A Rockford Road Runners discount applies; no discounts are honored on race day and pricing increases by $7.00 for registrations on race day.

T-shirts are available from BAX-Ts in Pecatonica and are distributed with race packets for registrations completed by the organizer’s cutoff. Age-group awards are offered for both male and female categories across standard age brackets from 0-14 up through 80 and older. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
