Paws & Peeps 5K - Easter Race Run
Paws & Peeps 5K is an event on April 12, 2026 in Elysian Park, Los Angeles. The program includes multiple running options and a pet-friendly division organized by Run For Paws and Aztlán Athletics. The dog-friendly entry provides an official T-shirt, an exclusive finisher medal, bunny ears for the first 300 dogs, a chip-timed race bib, live results, and finish line hydration for both humans and dogs.
Registrations are non-refundable. Registrants may switch to the virtual race or transfer their registration before an assigned cutoff; after that cutoff no changes or refunds are allowed. Packet pickup is scheduled at the race location on race day.
Rules for pet owners are stated: only one dog per walker, the person holding the leash must be 18 years or older, dogs must be on a leash no longer than four feet, retractable leashes are not allowed, and dogs must be current on required vaccinations. Extra waste bags and trash cans will be available at the venue. The organizers note that some dogs may not be suited to this level of activity and recommend considering alternatives for those animals.
