Supporting Charity
The event benefits Dreaming of Furever Animal Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The rescue works to reduce the stray animal population in South Texas through spay and neuter services for stray, shelter, and owned pets. Community education efforts focus on responsible pet ownership and local ordinances.
Proceeds from the event support animal advocacy, education for pet owners, and connecting families with assistance resources.
Participation Information
All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Leashed, friendly dogs are encouraged to participate, particularly in the 1K Wag Walk. Registrations by March 1st are eligible for a guaranteed event shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
