Event Overview
The Paving the Promise 5K is a charity running event held in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The primary event is a 3.1 mile running race that takes place starting at 1601 James Street. Purpose of the Race
Proceeds from the event benefit the Promise House, a facility located in Jonesboro. The Promise House operates as a faith-based transitional recovery house specifically for women in the Northeast Arkansas region. This organization is supported by the Southwest Church and the entity formerly known as the HUB.
The recovery program has provided assistance to 50 individuals and has celebrated 6 graduates to date. Participation in the event contributes to the continued operation of this housing program and its future efforts to assist women in recovery.
