Patterson Park 5k and Homebrew Contest
The Patterson Park 5k and Homebrew Contest is a community athletic event held in Baltimore, Maryland. Organized by B More Global, the event takes place within Patterson Park and combines running activities with a social homebrew competition. The race start is located outside the Virginia Baker Rec Center at 2601 E. Baltimore Street. Day-of packet pick-up and the associated beer garden are situated at the Patterson Park Public Charter School.
Participants can choose from multiple registration options:
- 5 km run
- 1 mile fun run
The 5 km course is open to a variety of participants, and the use of strollers and the presence of dogs is permitted. Specific registration categories are available for Baltimore City Schools students. Participants who register by October 25 are guaranteed an event shirt.
In addition to the running events, the day includes a beer garden, a homebrew tasting contest, and live music. Access to the beer garden and homebrew tasting is restricted to participants aged 21 and older. Various ticket tiers are available, allowing individuals to register for the races only, or to include access to the tasting activities in the beer garden.
